Three movements in the journey

  1. Arrive and reflect

The published outline begins with an in-person retreat in Kamakura, creating time to reflect on your life and the experiences that matter to you.

  2. Explore in everyday life

Between gatherings, participants take questions into their daily lives. Online conversations offer time to share what they notice and learn with others.

  3. Return and integrate

The outline concludes with a further gathering in Kamakura to look back on the process and consider what comes next.

The exact current schedule and number of visits must be confirmed with the hosts before travel is planned.

Cristina's experience

Cristina Ombra, a psychotherapist from Italy, took part in Zen Immersion. Her account describes exploring connections between body-oriented psychotherapy, mindfulness and her professional practice. It is one participant's experience, not a promise of a particular result.
